S Aravamudhan joined as Faculty Member at the Department of Chemistry, North Eastern Hill University, Shillong. On 30th November, 2006 attained the age of Superannuation and all along till now as Emeritus Professor, Prof. Aravamudhan has been specializing in Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy and Theoretical Chemistry and is skilled in Instrumentation
