The aims of research at UNVM were firstly to help students raise awareness of common error types, mainly those that interfere with comprehension of their compositions, and second to facilitate the learners' subsequent improvement of their own written texts. An error correction guide was designed to help teachers and students identify errors which hinder understanding.

Marisel Somale es Magister en Humanidades y Ciencias por la Universidad Nacional de Villa María. Licenciada y Especialista en Lengua Inglesa por la Universidad Tecnológica Facultad Regional Villa María, Profesora y Traductora Técnica de Inglés por la Escuela Normal Víctor Mercante. En la actualidad, es docente investigadora en el área de Lingüística Aplicada y en Literatura. Ha publicado artículos científicos en las áreas mencionadas, se desempeña como Editora Asociada en la Revista Internacional Las Humanidades y participa en diversas reuniones científicas. Dicta el espacio curricular Lengua Inglesa IV y un módulo de Lecto-comprensión Idioma Inglés en la UNVM, Argentina.
