Synopsis
La Biotecnología permite abordar los problemas ambientales modernos globales, producto del crecimiento acelerado, desarrollo urbanístico y olvido del manejo racional de los recursos naturales. El uso y exploración de plantas con fines de recuperación y mitigación pueden convertirse como apoyo a un conjunto de soluciones que de forma sinérgica, contribuyen a que el medio ambiente pueda contrarrestar la presión antrópica y aun mejor sostenerse. En el presente documento se muestra una alternativa de uso de una planta comestible que puede ser utilizada para reducir uno de los efectos residuales del Cromo, Mercurio y Plomo en el ambiente.
