Majority of Sub-Saharan African countries including Uganda have and are still grappling with many development challenges. many of such challenges result from poor and less sophisticated means of production which make it virtually impossible to realise meaningful production. Millennium village projects in Sub- Saharan Africa refresh the hopes of majority countries in tackling some of the development challenges in different parts of Sub-Saharan Africa which have been identified and confirmed as extremely lagging behind and gazzeted as "Hunger Hotspots".
