These disturbances need recognition and classification. A wavelet based decomposition of the disturbances using norm entropy and pattern recognition by Probabilistic Neural Network has been described.

Sunipa Sen Gupta is an M.Tech in Controls & Instrumentation from Netaji Subash Engineering College Kolkata.
