About the Author:
Dr. Haedy Liu lived in southwest China for fifteen years and taught in various educational contexts, including universities and community development projects. Dr. Liu holds a master's in TESOL and a PhD in intercultural studies. She is currently the chair of English-as-a-Second Language at Central Texas Central Texas College in Texas, U.S.
