Reaching Muslims in America with the Gospel: Understanding How the Church can Reach Muslims Effectively - Softcover
How can 7 million Muslims living in the United States be reached with the gospel? Many of the Christian approaches to Muslims during the past thirteen centuries were ineffective as a result of faulty assumptions and inadequate knowledge of both Islam and Muslims. Most of these approaches have failed to equip Christians to become competent witnesses with Muslims. This book attempts to identify effective and biblical principles of witness with Muslims as well as a possible starting point for developing a Christian theology addressed to the Muslim’s frame of understanding. Crucial to the task of reaching Muslims is an understanding of the American Muslim communities and the nature of Islam as it is currently understood and practiced. With some training and help the church in America is capable of developing effective ministries to the Muslims living in their communities. Our hope is that this study will provide you with clear objectives and a vision for making the church in America God’s instrument for reaching the Muslims living here among us.

About the Author:
Paul Martindale is Ranked Adjunct Assistant Professor of Islamic Studies and Cross-Cultural Ministry at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. His book is based upon many years of experience working with Muslims in the USA as well as in the Arab world. The text was Professor Martindale’s dissertation for his Doctor of Ministry degree.
