The advent of high speed communications devices and technologies is the driving force of the information age. Integrated circuits (ICs), operating at radio and microwave frequencies, are at the heart of these applications. MMICs have made a great contribution to the speed and efficiency of wireless devices. About the Author

Nam-Young Kim received two Masters and two Ph.D. degrees from SUNY at Buffalo and Midwest University, U.S.A.: the M.S. and the Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering in 1991 and 1994, respectively. He also received M. Div. and D. Div. degrees in Midwest University in 2004 and 2006. He has worked as Dean of ICT College, Kwangwoon Univiversity, Seoul, Korea
