Distance Education is a medium of teaching and learning using modern technology so that teachers or students do not have to be in the same place and same time.Quality of education is an issue that is raised constantly in the discussion on distance learning.The success of any open and distance learning course depends on how well it is designed, executed, and evaluated. Designing of a course not only demonstrates its strengths, but also decides student interest in it and reflection about the course. There has been growing emphasis upon student perspectives on the quality of distance education. With the growth of distance learning programs, the system as well as the structure and presentation of the course materials led to a growing interest in learning among adult learners and in continuing the pursuit of their educational goals. This book is a study to discern the effectiveness of distance learning material as perceived by the distance learners.

About the Author
Ms. Richa Sachan has obtained her masters degree in agricultural Extension and Communication from GBPUAT Pantnagar, India(2011) and presently pursuing her Ph.D. as a JRF Research Scholar in Extension Education from Banaras Hindu University. She authored 8 research papers in National journals and published various abstracts in various conferences.
