About the Author

Professor Gerhard Heufler is a designer and the co-founder of the degree program Industrial Design in Graz, which he has directed since 1995. 'Business Week' counted the school in Graz amongst the sixty best in the world. He is also the author of 'Design Basics' which is a classic in the field.
