Her subjects are women, men, and children of different ages, professions, and social backgrounds. Each portrait reveals an individual existence, abstracted from environment, culture, and nationality.

About the Author:

Born in Tianjin near Beijing in 1957, Xiao Hui Wang studied architecture in Shanghai, and initially worked for several years as a successful architect and lecturer. In recent years she has concentrated on her photography, and her work has appeared in books and numerous exhibitions.
