By linking the buildings to the people who erected and lived in them, and by introducing us to stories and myths connected with them, architectural history is presented to the reader as a combination of art historical information with delightful anecdotes.
About the Author
Klaus Reichold has produced and written numerous radio programmes, television documentaries, and articles about culture and history. He is the author of Palaces that Changed the World and co-author of Paintings that Changed the World (both Prestel). Bernhard Graf is an art historian who has written several books including Bridges That Changed the World and Paintings That Changed the World (both Prestel). They both live in Munich.
