Review:
"Grave's incredibly inviting and witty watercolors capture activity in a well-tended backyard and amplify the poetic text by landscape designer Gilles Clement...Regardless of your plant knowledge, the book's content is enough to encourage everyone to kneel down in the dirt and hunt for microscopic beings, and to see the world from an ant's -- or artist's -- point of view." -The Oregonian

"Don’t let its title fool you; this oversize picture book—originally published in France—is about much more than a garden...This unconventional tour of the world around us issure to sow environmental awareness and curiosity galore in readers of all ages." -Booklist

"I especially think A Big Garden is a sweet book to share and read with a child. It's written and illustrated from a totally fanciful perspective. Overall, it's a very artsy book that any gardener would love." -Ciao! Newport Beach
