Angelika Taschen studied art history and German literature in Heidelberg, gaining her doctorate in 1986. Working for TASCHEN since 1987, she has published numerous titles on art, architecture, photography, design, travel, and lifestyle. Olaf Hajek was born in 1965 and obtained a degree in graphic design from the Fachhochschule Dusseldorf in 1993. Since then his illustrations have appeared in international publications including The New Yorker, Rolling Stone, The New York Times, Architectural Digest and Yoga Journal. He has also designed the covers of TASCHEN's Paris, TASCHEN's London and TASCHEN's New York. Hajek currently lives and works in Berlin.
