Similar efforts are taking place in multi-touch community to provide the users with interactive interface. Control is now shifting from keyboards to the tips of our fingers. Human interaction via touch is becoming more common by every day. A Team of 5 computer Engineer's developed the cost- effective multi-touch surface. They used ordinary projector instead of short-throw projector and they replaced the IR camera with the regular use web-cam. you can make your own cost-effective multi-touch surface by following DIY approach.

A Team of 5 Computer Engineers from UET Lahore accomplished a remarkable feat by developing and implementing an Optical Multi-touch Surface. The project was developed in a very short duration which later made them win not only National Level Competitions but also backed them to represent Pakistan in Microsoft Imagine cup 2010 global finals.
