About the Author:

Chiara Bertoglio (*Turin, 1983) is an internationally active concert pianist and musicologist; she is a Master's graduate of the Accademia di Santa Cecilia and of the Universities of Venice and Rome and obtained a PhD in Music Performance Practice from the University of Birmingham. She published several musicological books and articles.
