American photographer Annie Marie Musselman presents a series of photographs depicting the care of injured wild animals at wildlife rehabilitation centres - guaranteed to pull on the heartstrings of all animal lovers. Aimed at showing the world a close-up view of the faces and souls of these often illusive wild creatures, Musselman started shooting the project seven years ago and the resulting collection personally follows their physical recovery, development and grief at the loss of their parents.
