Synopsis
Desire is so much more than a biological mechanism, it is the crucible of all of our hopes and frustrations, the very fabric of our existence. To consider the subject of desire is to approach the intangible, the poetic. And in a sense all photography stems from the desire to grasp what appears through the lens. In the exceptional tradition of Strip and Paradise, this new installment in the series edited by Patrick Remy brings us 80 photographers dealing with the hidden motor that drives their own art.
