Did you know that the Himalayas, the world's tallest mountains, are also present within your own body? Did you know that the stars and all the galaxies are reflected in your inner sky? Did you ever realize that there are hundreds of rivers coursing through your nervous system and that the most powerful river of all lies untapped?
Most of us spend our entire lives focusing on outer things. We journey thousands of miles to see interesting sights, spend millions of dollars on high-tech toys and vehicles to keep us moving and keep us entertained. The media, the internet, movies, all keep us racing, our minds straining to catch up to the whirlwind of information which hits us with hurricane force each day. And all for what? Because we want to be entertained, interested, excited, amused. We want to be HAPPY.
The Universe Within presents a whole new way of looking at the world. In a fascinating analogy between the outer universe and the human body, Paramahamsa Prajnanananda describes how we can find that elusive happiness within ourselves. Once we know the secrets of exploring the universe within, we no longer need to run endlessly after false promises of joy, or spend fortunes trying to create our own bliss. All of our deepest desires will be fulfilled from within. And we will be happy, not for a few minutes, not for a few hours, but always.
Written in a simple, but gripping style, this informative and fascinating book combines ancient wisdom with modern day problems and is easy to apply to everyday lives. There are no yogic contortions here, nor convoluted metaphysical explanations. Whether you are a rocket scientist, a star athlete, an executive, or a factory worker, this is the book, which will help you tap the immense potential you contain within you.

Paramahamsa Prajnanananda, born in 1960 in Pattamandai, Orissa, India, has always been a sincere seeker of truth. After a childhood filled with prayer and a youth enriched by education joined with meditation, he became a caring teacher as a professor of Economics and guided and inspired many of his students spiritually. Through an unquenchable thirst for God he met many saints and visited many ashrams in the Himalayas, looking for a spiritual guide until, while still a student, he met his master Paramahamsa Hariharananda, who guided him on the path of Kriya Yoga.
A Paramahamsa at the incredibly young age of 39, Prajnananandaji is the epitome of love and wisdom. A young and luminous proponent of the Kriya Yoga path in the tradition of Babaji, Lahiri Mahasaya, Shriyukteshwar, Paramahamsa Yogananda and Paramahamsa Hariharananada, Paramahamsa Prajnanananda currently teaches and propagates Kriya Yoga both in the East and West. He travels the world selflessly spreading the bliss and knowledge attained through this practice. A prolific author and a dynamic writer proficient in many languages, Paramahamsa Prajnanananda has authored, compiled, translated and edited many books.
