This book continues to discuss the philosophy and techniques of Biodynamic Psychology and Psychotherapy as introduced in Volume One. The second volume considers the biodynamic treatments of depressive states and the fluid factor in migraine. An overview of the molecular basis of communication between cells is given and two important touch techniques are presented – the energy distribution massage and the pulsatory touch method – both used in the treatment of psychosomatic disorders. The book concludes with a socio-biodynamic look at the family triangle of mother, father and child, and a discussion of this biological configuration in the present social climate.

«This book complements Peg Nunneley’s first one with its wealth of information that is easily accessible. It is a useful reference book and, as with her first book, the reader is drawn in, to awaken and even question one’s own awareness of idiopathic pain and illnesses, and alternative ways of working.» (Isabella Van Hoye and Fadi Nasrallah, Newsletter. The New Zealand Association of Psychotherapists)
