Synopsis
Nanne Meyer is one of the most important artist of her generation. For 20 years she also draws in ready-bound, non-printed books that include between 250 and 600 pages. 18 books with approximately 6,000 pages have since emerged. Thoughts, newspaper photos, dreams, snatches of conversation, a word, the beginning of a line - all of which can be the starting point for drawings that lead to the double-sided dialogue with each other. Unlike sketchbooks, in which work is being prepared, do these books as places for independent drawings. They form a reservoir of thousands of ideas. The book 16, "Air views" (2000-2002), with 455 drawings was published in facsimile, which is accompanied by a text band called "air texts"
