Paperback. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. Book is in good condition with mild wear to the edges some moderate sunfading to the edges and the words of the dust jacket have left slight shadows. The binds has begun to pull away at the bottom 2 inches of the cover, but all pages are secure. The dust jacket is in good condition with some heavy sunfading to the bottom and soe scattered stains and markings on the front at back with the largest on the back spanning about an inch. The edges have also seen some moderate wear and the inside flap has a crease in the bottom corner. Overall the book is displayable and all pages are clean and vibrant. Seller Inventory # 987117

Based on the idea that the earth's environment has reached a crucial point as we plunge into the 21st century, Issey Miyake directed the exhibition by focusing on the 21st century man, who will live out this century. With objects and installation using everyday materials, home appliance parts and discarded paper, and work that focus on the human body and handcraft, it posed questions about the dangers a society may withhold, while at the same time presenting hope and strength for the 21st century man.
