Christophe Vermare prefers the challenge of a working in diverse settings ranging from panoramic natural landscapes to small interior spaces, where he has the same challenges as someone working in a studio and the additional ones of variable weather, wind and light. He works in different light ranging from high noon with its short dark shadows to the long low angled shadows of late day. He works on still days and windy. He moves around the figure, focusing on her breasts, or the arch of her back, or her backlit silhouette. His angles of view and his proximity to the models may shift from a tight frame on the torso to a figure dwarfed by the surrounding, but his models grace the setting. - Don Sanders
