Designed for high school students of music schools and music schools. FROM THE CONTRACTOR This Reader is intended for high school students of music schools and music schools, but can also be used by university students. It includes original concerts for double bass and orchestra, which are popular in pedagogical practice, arranged for double bass and piano. Their authors are composers of the 18th and 19th centuries: K. Kohaut (1726-1784), V. Pichl (1741-1804), G. Chimador (1761-1808), D. Dragonetgi (1763-1846), E. Storch (1840 -1877), F. Simandl (1840-1912). The Reader includes only the first parts of the concertos (in the works of Kohaut and Dragonetti also the second parts), since in educational practice they are performed most often and fully represent the style of a particular work. The strokes and fingering proposed by the editor are dictated both by the intonation stylistics of the published works and by the specifics of the "Viennese five-string player" (Fa-La-Re-F-sharp-La), for which the concerts of the 18th century were written. The editor also introduced a different notation for the contrabass part: recording in a bass clef with a large number of additional lines on top is replaced with a modern notation, i.e. in bass clef and treble clef and, where convenient, in tenor clef. The reader gives young musicians the opportunity to get acquainted with a wide range of works by foreign authors, to study and master in practice their intonational and technical features. L.
