Arturo P�rez-Reverte naci� en Cartagena, Espa�a, en 1951. Fue reportero de guerra durante veinti�n a�os. Con m�s de veinte millones de lectores en todo el mundo, muchas de sus novelas han sido llevadas al cine y a la televisi�n. Hoy comparte su vida entre la literatura, el mar y la navegaci�n. Es miembro de la Real Academia Espa�ola.
