Synopsis
En Akutagawa, la necesidad del aislamiento se vuelve lectura y esta, escritura. Aislarse para leer y escribir; leer y escribir para aislarse y amparar así un sistema nervioso que lo desbarata. Una escritura, en última instancia, percibida como imposibilidad, sufrimiento y fracaso («Cuando escribo voy punto por punto, momento a momento. Si salto una etapa, me trabo. Y no puedo seguir. Si me fuerzo, algo sale mal. He de permanecer alerta. Pero por muy alerta que esté, ocurre que a menudo lo que quiero decir se me escapa. Ese es mi problema.») Una escritura en que ficción es mentira y esta un intento último, sobrecogedor, de acercarse a la verdad. ¿Cuál es la verdad?
