In this investigation, a comprehensive analysis was carried out to study the mechanical and tribological behaviour of AA7068/TiC metal matrix composites. Final attempt was carried out to study the influence of wt.% of TiC, cutting speed, feed and depth of cut on output responses like surface roughness, cutting force, material removal rate and specific energy consumption. They were measured during machining of AA7068/TiC MMCs. Three different types of cutting tool inserts were used in this investigation. Experiments have been planned and conducted according to CCD design in design of experiments.
