Synopsis
This project is mainly focused on the face recognition of face for security purpose. Face recognition is a category of biometric software which works by matching the facial features. We will be studying the implementation of various algorithms in the field of secure voting methodology. Face recognition is used to verify voters, to eliminate face votes and eliminate repeated voting. In this concept, a new authentication technique in online voting system using facial recognition. Currently in India, there are two types of voting system in practice. They are secret Ballet paper and Electronic Voting Machines (EVM), but both of the process has some limitation or demerits. In India, online voting has not yet been implemented. The current voting system is not secure and time consuming as well. The voters need to go to distributed places like polling booths and stand in a very long queue to cast their vote, due to these reasons most of the people misses the chance of casting their votes. That is why in this concept we have to propose a system or way for voting which is very effective.
