Animal Husbandry and Dairy sector play a significant role in supplementing family income and generating gainful employment in the rural sector, particularly among the landless labourers, small and marginal farmers and farm women. The present study was carried out in Junagadh district of Gujarat state. For the present study, four talukas of Junagadh district was selected randomly. From each selected taluka, five villages will be selected randomly. Ten respondents were selected randomly from each village who were involved in dairy farming. Thus, random samples of 200 dairy farm women were selected for the study. The data was collected through personal interview schedule. Collected data was compiled, tabulated and analyzed using appropriate statistical tools and techniques.In major findings, majority of the farm women were from middle age group, up to primary level of education, low level of income, joint and large family size. Majority of the farm women had marginal land holding, agriculture and animal husbandry as occupation and low social participation. Majority of the farm women had medium experience in dairy farming, used medium sources of information.
