With the age of technology our current students spent most of their time logged into a social page or an academic searching engine. The introduction of a blended teaching and learning approach in the English classroom was a stepping stone which increased the time, level of participation in and out of class, interaction, motivation, and excitement. Using the Moodle Platform (MP) as a teaching and learning tool enabled the students to access the learning material whenever they needed, using a means already familiar to them. The face to face lectures were a combination of a topic introduced in class which was further debated on or clarified through chats and forums as well as further online practice exercises uploaded on the MP and reinforced by the uploaded course content, which made the learning process mobile. This helped the student to use English as a means of communication almost on a daily basis.
