The study indicated that the adsorbent derived from castor seed shell used for the removal of Congo red dye and Rhodamine B dye from aqueous solution exhibited good surface morphology suitable for enhancing the activity in the adsorption process with high percentage removal.Undoubtedly RSM is a good technique to provide optimum conditions of the adsorption process by studying the effect of main factors and their interactions on response with a minimum number of experiments. The adsorbent exhibited good physicochemical properties suitable for enhancing the adsorption process.
