In the wind energy generation system up till now almost all the systems are employing radial generator which is having single rotor and single stator. However, many researches show a new concept for the generator used in wind turbines that is use of double rotor which has many advantages over a traditional single rotor.This book presents the axial flux machine technology which consists of one stator and two rotors. The stator is located in the middle of the two rotors and slotted on both sides.
