Synopsis

This study analyzes the impact of digital technologies on mathematics teaching and learning processes in elementary school, specifically on the development of addition and subtraction skills among first-grade students. The study stems from persistent difficulties in competencies related to logical reasoning, problem-solving, and the understanding of basic operations, highlighting the need to transform traditional teaching practices through innovative strategies facilitated by ICT. It also addresses the digital transformation of education and the role of interactive resources as tools for strengthening dynamic, accessible, and student-centered learning environments. From a methodological perspective, a mixed-methods design with a quasi-experimental focus is adopted, allowing for the analysis of quantitative and qualitative variables related to academic performance, motivation, and student interaction.
