Synopsis
Harris, professor of dentistry, and Weeks, an American Egyptologist, report the preliminary findings of a project to x-ray the mummified Egyptians which commenced in 1965 under the auspices of the Michigan School of Dentistry. There's a lot to be learned from teeth and the Michigan team is well on its way to a social history of dentition which could well lead to major revisions.--Kirkus
