Synopsis
This book originated as notes by the authors for lectures on Hamilton's Ricci flow given in China during the summer of 2004. Thees lecture notes were written during the author's stays at Fudan, East China Normal, Beijing and Zhejiang University. This book attempts to convey some of the relations and formal similarities between Ricci flow and other geometric flows such as man curvature flow.
