《汉语语文辞书释义对比研究》立足辞书释义方式和释义内容两个层面，基于辞书释义的整体观和词汇语义学的义位结构论、义位组合论，以《现代汉语词典》为中心，从共时角度对比了《现代汉语词典》等几部语文辞书中的褒贬陪义词、动物名词、动物语素类比喻词及颜色词释义上的异同，对比了《现代汉语词典》第5版到第6版释义提示词的使用与修订情况，为相关词条释义的修订提出了建议；同时从历时角度对比了《说文解字》《康熙字典》《现代汉语词典》等辞书，探讨了辞书释义内容演变的特点。
