Synopsis
《管子》四篇（〈内业〉、〈白心〉、〈心术〉上下）是战国稷下黄老道家的代表作，本书旨在阐发稷下黄老派思想。全书分成三个部分。第二部分《管子》四篇注译与诠释是本书的中心部分。其余两个部分的文章和解释都是围绕着这四篇所做的思想阐发及材料补充。本书力图保持古代道家思想精髓，通过作者的解析，读者从中品味到道家较为原始的思想蕴含。◆我们只要从《管子》四篇，便可明白司马谈《论六家要指》所说的道家，原来就是黄老道家；从《管子》四篇，便可明白作为先秦时代总结的《吕氏春秋》巨著中何以黄老成为其主体思想；从《管子》四篇，也可明白孟子心气一类哲学议题的由来，以及《荀子》、《大学》、《中庸》部分思想的渊源。四篇的心学、气论，实为中国古代思想史不可或缺的一环；而其君道思想，如君上无为臣下有为以及君臣分职而治的观念，成为汉魏政治哲学的主流思想。◆黄老之学是以老子道论思想为主轴，同时结合齐法家“法”的思想，以及当时盛行的刑名观念而融会出的新道家思潮。这一思潮试图于社会政治层面提出一套君无为而臣有为的治国有效原则。若比较庄子学派来看，庄学少谈君道，而黄老之学却集中于论述君道，可以说所关注的正是班固在《汉书？艺文志》中所说的“君王南面之术”。……
