Synopsis
故事发生在抗日战争时期。1943年夏末的华北古城，由于汉奸阿特务的破坏，地下党组织遭受到了重大的损失。为了与古城底下党取得联系，游击队政委杨晓冬进入古城，在地下交通员金环、银环姐妹及拉黄包车的工人韩燕来等人的配合下，积极地与敌人展开斗争，并计划争取伪团长关敬陶起义。游击队在一次伏击中俘获了关敬陶，对他进行教育后释放，为帮他重获敌人的信任，金环英勇就义。杨晓冬被捕后，杨母为了让儿子坚持斗争，毅然坠楼而死，这些都给关敬陶极大震动，使他下决心跟共产党走，并趁出城抢粮之机起义。杨晓冬胜利完成任务，把母亲留下的戒指送给银环后，又去迎接新的战斗。
