Synopsis
"《作文十九问》为“作文四书”之三。初版于1986年，2004年尔雅获得版权，把它改成大字版，于2007年印行。这本书和前面的《讲理》《作文七巧》一样受到大众的关注，尤其是青年学生将之视为不可或缺的作文指导手册。相对于《作文七巧》的结构紧凑，此书更自由闲散，通篇以对话的形式行文，虽然也讲文章的做法，但不谈理论化的手法，而更偏重细节和举例，因此作者自称是《作文七巧》补述。“作文一定要承转起合吗？”“如何立意？”“什么才是恰当的比喻？”“怎样发现和运用材料？”……
