Synopsis
《蓬莱水城（中文版）/中国精致建筑100》介绍：蓬莱水城，在山东省境内，属烟台辖区的蓬莱市。“蓬莱”一词，早见于《史记·秦始皇本纪》“秦始皇东行郡县……立石刻、颂秦德、明德意。既已，齐人徐市等上书，言海中有三神山，名日蓬莱、方丈，瀛洲，仙人居之。”那渤海、黄海中偶尔出现的“海市蜃楼”，便被认为是仙人居住的地方。随后，汉武帝寻仙来到此地便筑城日：蓬莱，蓬莱地名由此而产生。由于秦始皇、汉武帝对“蓬莱”仙境的钟爱，地名蓬莱便成为神仙之地的化身。到了唐贞观八年（634年），开始在此设置蓬莱镇；神龙三年（707年），升为蓬莱县，为登州东牟郡治。沿用至民国时期废府存县。1991年撤县设市。一、刀鱼巡检，倭患二、东扼岛夷，北拄辽左三、仙与人共守四、战舰的家院五、海上易守六、陆上难攻七、仙阁缥缈八、天后香火九、龙王爷的恩赐十、求仙易，成仙难十一、硝烟已散，笙歌达旦大事年表
