Synopsis
Lu Xun (Lu Hsun) (1881-1936), father of contemporary Chinese literature, was not only a great writer but also a great revolutionary and thinker. Using the pen as a weapon he waged an exceedingly heroic struggle against imperialism, feudalism and bureaucrat-capitalism. The rich heritage he has left us is a treasure in the literature of the Chinese people.
