Chengdu Sanqinghui Opera Society is the most important society of Sichuai Opera actors. This book adopts Kang Zilin, a master of Sichuan Opera widely known as Saint of Opera, Cao Heiwa, widely known in Sichuan as Lord Cao and several other opera actors who have made huge contribution to the establishment and development of Sichuan Opera as archetypes and demonstrates their life from the end of Qing Dynasty to the beginning of the Republic, including their early vagrant life, the legendary story of their becoming famous and their fight against the evil power, so as to illustrate the foundation of a society of artists of different nationalities.
