Synopsis
本书是国内首次对加拿大文学民族性进行系统性研究，也是首次将加拿大英语文学和法语文学结合起来考察民族性建构。本书分为上、下两篇。上篇侧重于理论层面的探讨，阐述了加拿大文学民族性的建构及其理论流变，探讨了民族、国家、地理、身份、动物、环境等元素与文学“加拿大性”的互构关系，展现“加拿大性”不同理论层面的多维建构。下篇则选取布鲁克、阿特伍德、门罗、翁达杰、麦克劳德、马特尔等作家，以及一些重要的魁北克作家，结合理论进行分析，旨在凸显文学在想象共同体建构过程中的塑造作用，呈现文学加拿大性的多元动态属性。
