Synopsis
This is a book illustrating Chinas view on human rights and progress achieved about human rights to the world. Its aims are to improve the occupational consciousness and professional level of Chinese news media about reporting human rights, stimulate the editors and reporters sensibility and accurate grasp of the human rights reports, journalistic impartiality, news accurateness, journalistic integrity, human rights law and other topics and make the news reports become closer to the actual life of the people. It has 18 chapters in all. The first two chapters introduce the idea of Chinese human rights and the international human rights laws; the following 16 chapters introduce what angles to pay attention to when reporting Chinese human rights and the progress achieved about rights protection from the right out of poverty, womens rights, childrens rights and other aspects.
