《我认识的鬼子兵》内容简介：当新世纪的曙光就在我们面前时，许多侵华日本士兵的生命也快要走到人生的尽头了。他们回味侵华战争的血腥吗？他们忏悔自己的罪恶吗？他们思考对未来的和平贡献力量吗？他们要把侵略他国时所犯下的罪恶悄悄带进坟墓而不警示后人了吗？在连老鬼子本人都不忏悔的情况下，他们的子女会很好地认识日本军国主义者的罪恶以及他们给人类社会带来的危害吗？这正是我想知道的。我在日本留学6年，正是抱着这个目的，利用一切可以利用的机会，深入采访了十几位侵华老日本兵。借助他们自己的言谈，他们的日记，他们提供的战争期间的照片，他们从中国劫掠去的文物，向世人揭示他们今天的内心世界。
我正是抱着这种意图，拿起笨拙的笔，写出这本《我认识的鬼子兵》。
