本书是科技部科技创新战略研究专项“推进农业 农村现代化中的科技创新重大问题研究”（ZLY201748 ）的部分研究成果，由科技部农村中心主任贾敬敦研 究员主编的《农业农村现代化与科技创新重大问题研 究》总报告也已出版。本书梳理了中华人民共和国成 立以来中国农业农村现代化发展的历程，从农业现代 化和农村现代化的内涵、目标，以及发展的现状与问 题人手，结合中国农业农村现代化发展的典型案例， 总结了中国农业农村现代化发展的经验。从粮食作物 、经济作物、畜牧兽医、渔业、农业工程、食品加工 、农产品质量安全、农业资源环境8个领域分析了科技 对中国农业农村现代化的支撑作用。
