Synopsis
《富国策》为西方经济学说传入近代中国的首BU译著，英国剑桥大学教授亨利?法思德（Henry Fawcett）著。法思德为英国古典经济学派的继承者，曾任英国国会大臣、邮政署长。晚清中国开展洋务运动之时，京师同文馆将此书作为经济学教材，后于1880年由同文馆副教习汪凤藻译成中文出版，在清末知识界和朝野上下产生重要影响。本书通过对《富国策》中文译本的校注、英文序言和部分摘要的翻译，以及与《富国策》相关的《重译富国策》、白话文《富国策》《富国须知》等资料的整理和分析，从中外文化交流、中国近代经济史、教育史等角度重新梳理与分析这段历史。
