Zhao Mengfu (1254-1322) is a calligrapher in Yuan Dynasty. He was expert in calligraphy particularly in regular script, cursive script and regular script in small characters based on the writing style of Li Yong, Wang Xizhi and Wang Xianzhi. Bacause of its powerful and mellow style, people named his style as Song typeface. He has many famous calligraphic articles handed down. Through the couplets, the book concentratedly shows the calligraphy art of Zhao. It is arranged progressively which suits readers to copy.
