Synopsis
The novel narrates the tragedy of a pure girl. The protagonist Tess is a beautiful farm girl who loses virginity forced by the son of her master, which deprives her happiness. In her wedding night, she is abandoned by her husband. Having no alternative, she goes to the son of her master again. However, her husband returns with illness.
