Synopsis
With the development of medical technology, testing items used to assist to make clinical disease diagnoses emerge in an endless stream. So far, Chinese Ministry of Health has approved over 1,000 clinical testing items and the foreign large independent laboratory has over 3,000 clinical testing items. This selects about 350 common charged items according to Shanghais medical service items for diagnosis and treatment and the price list, mainly covering the ordinary testing items for clinical disease screening and diagnosing testing items for the disease diagnosis. It tries to introduce the reference range of the testing items, specimen collection requirements and clinical values and other aspects in simply language, so that the readers without medical professional background can understand the basic knowledge of kinds of testing items.
